Default Shadows: What is everyone looking at?

In the first shot a group of people at Waikiki Beach are looking intently at someone about to do something crazy.
The second shot reveals the crazy stunt.

Jumping off the walkways with exaggerated poses is a favorite activity for the young crowd at Waikiki Beach in Honolulu.

Glad you shared the second image. It explained the first one. I like how the shadows aren't very distorted.

I am wondering if the subject of the second shot is really something (someone) else? Take another look.

Actually in reality Cal, you are correct the group show in the shadows were not looking at the fellow jumping off but at a girl who had just previously jumped off. Should have clarified that the shadows were of individuals just generally looking at crazy jumpers.

When I first looked at your photos selvin I had an overwhelming déjà vu moment. As I looked it hit me. I have stood in almost the same place and took photos of the same kind of thing. You photos definitely made me smile.
