Default The revolving question

Who in their right mind would take pictures of revolving doors on their first visit to NYC? ME!

Who would post in the wrong place? Me.

If you look at my previous posts, I try to find art in whatever I cross.
I shoot RAW and my images look very flat, no pop.

#2 looks to me very HDR but is not processed that way. (I probably had a polarizing filter)

In ACR, all I tweak is,
Exposure occasionally
Recovery and fill light almost never
Blacks, almost always, This works in PS with shadows and highlights.
small bump on clarity, vibrance and saturation, usually less than +5.
open image.
Image >> adjust >> shadows and highlights, both sliders need tweaking.

BTW, I have been away for too long (Medical and business problems) and hope to post more here soon.

Shoot enough boring revolving doors and you create an interesting theme. Well done.

I'd be taking these images, too. I have a thing for doors.
Love the third one with the front on of the two doors.

LOL, like.

Glad everyone likes them, I remember feeling dumb shooting the first one and then stumbled on a few more and decided the first one needed company.
I got back to the room to see what I had and thought they looked pretty cool but thought they would never see the light of day, I mean who wants to see revolving doors?
Well here they are for all to see.
My revolving doors thank you for this shootout theme.
