Default New Challenge - Aug 5-18 -- Headlight Taillight

This is an experiment!! Have you noticed all the different styles of headlights and taillights? Your task is to go out and find some interesting examples. They may be lighted or not. If you find an unusual taillight and you can get the owner to step on the brake, go for it.

OK, that was the easy part! Now, take that photo and do some artistic tweaks on it and see what you can come up with. Any kind of post-processing is permitted.

LED headlights are quite unusual. They make the car look like some kind of living creature. You might be able to do something interesting with them.

OK! Go out, capture some car lights, build some "art" around them and show us the results. As with past "wild card" challenges, the art part is entirely optional.

By the way, I HATE LED headlights!! However, I won't let that prejudice interfere with my comments on posted photos.

Have fun.

Cal

Default

We've seen a number of good photos of headlights and taillights but they have been mostly on older cars. I was hoping to see some of the modern head and taillights with their interesting geometric patterns.
