Well done!

Until I read your writeup, I thought it was some kind of
a hairball because your water is streaming in such
a fine spray

I personally think that the higher ISO adds a texture to this work that wouldn't have existed otherwise. It looks like you're picking alien cotton or some new cotton candy machine. It also brings images of cocoons to mind, especially with that blackish blot at bottom (I have no idea what it actually is). Someone here said "diabolical." I agree. I'm gonna be looking out for your future posts for sure!

Thank you all for your replies. Norm, the blackish blot at the bottom is part of the deflated balloon. As I burst it in the middle, that is where it split. Therefore as the burst rubber moves, it pulls the water with it, the upper part shows water spray heading upwards, and the bottom part spraying down.

Yours Diabolically

When my brother and I got our first Manual SLRs in about 1979 (Cosina CT-1 and Chinon CM4s), we spent our summer holidays practising and learning about what could be done with light, long exposures, flash and did our first 1 hour exposure of the stars etc. Tried all the old ways of doing double exposures (Press rewind button in, hold film rewind button, and wind camera on or cock it for next pic, and overlay next photo) for ghostly image. Long before photoshop!Tried just about everything, and have now found a new (and cheap) lease of life for re-kindling that old magic of experimentation!!

I recently had trouble with another word, a perfectly legitimate word, a word that's not slang, a word found often in the Bible. It's part of the compound word "hellfire."
