Ugh! But very striking! Nice and sharp. Interesting blend of textures.

Definitely, ugh! I'm trying to get past what it is to the skill of the photo itself. I know it's well done, I know it meets the criteria of the challenge, I know it has impact, which is what every good photo should have, but...that poor little bird.

But if a cat did this, somebody had a very shocking gift when the cat brought it home. Our cats always brought these types of suprises home. That is why our cats are now indoor cats.

LOL This WAS a gift ! It was about 6 feet from the back door. I found an explosion of feathers very similar to Todd Swains post earlier this week. This poor fellows head was being batted about by my 27lb russian blue....

I miss my Kitty - excellent mouser/birder/squirreler/moler/etc. and hopelss "Mama's boy," turned up missing 3 mo after I got married/moved. I never minded the squirrels he brought to me, and growled over as he ate, as if I might try to take a bite of his prize...

3 months after you got married? Hmnnnn I would find my wife suspect if my cat dissapeared suddenly .. ( I got married in Dec., I'm going to watch my cat like a hawk now!!)

In regard to your kitty, mine is very similar.. highly agressive... If he is in a fickle mood he chases you ... not to mention he actually charges and bites the ankles of strangers in the yard.... I think he may be part chihuahua lol
