Default Mist of Avalon

Both images are wonderful. In color it is the Forest Awakening and in B&W it is the Mist of Avalon. The light carries the viewer into the very heart of the mist within the forest cathedral. The image reminds of the magic within an Arthurian tale.

Great composition, good vision and nice high contrast tonal range - well done.

Wow - this is really beautiful. Isn't God just an amazing painter?!?! I like it both ways, and I agree with Barb on the wall being necessary to the flow of the work.

43 miles? I rode 1000 miles one summer, tho my longest was "only" 35. Hubby did a 53-mi-ride one very long day, and he's 11 years older than me.

You did a very nice job. Thanks for sharing!

15 - ahhhh - a child prodigy, just as I thought! He is crazy, but that was a few years and a few pounds ago. I think he was probably 40 or so when he did that.

I am not sure I can add anything to this thread, but I wanted to say the color photo is just amazing.

Lucky grandfather - and lucky you! Enjoy your time together (but I'm sure you know that). I'd give anything to visit with any of my four, the last of who passed away a couple months ago.
