PA is a beautiful state. We have lots of great bike trails nearby, here in the Laurel Highlands.

hmmmm......i'll have to look it up!
any ones with long downhills

if you ever have the chance.....go to Veil Pass.....it has the most amazing bike trail ever!
i was probably going 45 mph without even pedaling much!
it is called the Veil Pass Bikeway in Colorado!
it is a 16 mile bikeway that you do about 12-14 miles pretty steep downhill...then you do the rest in town to wherever you parked.....it is spectacular! most bicyclists go up it....but it is much more fun to go down

Our trails are all level - they are part of the "rails to trails" program utilizing old railroad trails, sometimes paralleling existing tracks. They are officially called the Allegheny Highlands Trails. It's a sand-groomed trail. I prefer road riding, myself - more variety.

The trails are all over PA, I think - but this is south central PA, about 100 mi east of Pgh - in the Laurel Highlands (Meyersdale, Confluence, Somerset, Rockwood, etc. - all tiny towns).
