you have 3 more days! and today!

i like this....the sun is a bit blown out but i really like the backlit grain....(if that is grain....or barley) nice shot
i'd say the b/w is a bit better....

By Jove, I think you've got it! To my eye, the black-and-white runs rings around the color version where the sun looks blown out. In b&w, that blast of white looks right, positively oozing HOT sun. Good work, Jack.

Yes, I like the blown-out sun. Sometimes I think doing the unconventional or "wrong" thing helps you get your ideas across.

very true.....sunsets are especially hard to espose because of the bright sun.....it is very hard to get any foreground detail....
