LTBerry, you beat me to it. This was taken about 8 months ago when Dillon was about 1 week old. You CANīT have a baby and not take this kind of pic!

We have the same close up of his feet too! (and about 2,000 others! )

This is a beautiful photo, Freefly. I particularly like how high key it is. The overall lightness of it accentuates the delicacy of a baby's brand-newness, and maybe it also says something about a parent's feeling toward his child.

Thanks barbara. Do you know what...I never knew quite how many feelings I had buried in me until little Dillon was born. He has calmed me down (No more fast bikes or skydiving! ), made me more appreciative of everything around me, made me 100x MORE patient and a 1000x LESS selfish! Thoroughly recommended!

Precisely, Freefly. The most amazing part is to suddenly realize how important your own life is, not because of the natural instinct to survive, but because that little person needs you so much. I went through a period verging on the neurotic where I was afraid to go anywhere in the car with my husband because, if we got into a bad accident, we might both die. One of us absolutely had to stay alive for our child.

Oh, dear Lord, I hope I haven't just given you a new thing to agonize over!

Oh ... well if that don't put me off having children.

Oh Barbara, that really made me laugh! I kind of overkilled on those feelings very early on. We panicked about giving him his own room last week...shall we get an intercom? Should one of us stay in there? What if this? What if that? In the end, and for the last week, he has been sleeping for 12 hours a night for the 1st time....BLISS!

The only time I dont feel good is when my wife goes out with him for a walk. Iīm not there to do my Alpha-Male bit and protect them!

In my picture the baby's hand covers 2 knuckles on daddy's finger; on yours it covers one. Must be a really tiny baby. Nice shot!
