Default Good Sense: Cross Street Market

The image is what it is - bad photographer! Sometimes you shot blind and hope. As a side note, I did ask permission before capturing the image.

Let's see if I met the challenge anyway.

Hungry?

Enjoy,

rod

hmm.....that is good you asked permission....but do you have to in this situation? i would guess maybe because you don't want to give away cooking techniques......

Rod, you've just managed to do me in twice within a minute. I went from your mention of blood oranges directly to this photo. Is it arty? Nah. Does it work? You better believe it works! I can taste every last one of those steaming hot sausages. Some grilled peppers would be nice to go along with them, don't you think? Mmm, and some onions, too. You bring the food, I'll bring the Tums.

Default Too Kind

Barbara and Vito:

You are both too kind. I believe the image meets the challenge but it is bad photography and that is all there is to it.

LOL,

Rod

Rod,
this forum is about testing our limits, breaking rules, growing, making fun of each other, laughing together, and doing what Barb tells us to!
Nowhere has anyone said a photo needs to be artsy. In fact I think too many people try to be artsy. This picture does exactly what it needs to. Now I feel hungry!

Did you get permission from the pigs? They look yummy. I can feel the skin crackle against my teeth as they pierce the casings. And then the juice/grease. This is the only way I like hotdogs. They look marvelous!

Default Monkey143

143:

I was photographing in Baltimore's Cross Street market. I did not want to intrude on a business, hence I asked each vendor, if I could photograph their stand. All the vendors thought I was crazy but granted permission.

Rod:

If you got permission from the rest of the venders, where is the rest of the food? I am ready to eat. Great picture.

Rod, that is very considerate of you. I probably would have just sheepishly not taken the picture. That's one area I need to work on. ops:
