Default Good Sense: My Chair

This is where I will spend an evening reading, relaxing, and most likely falling a sleep. Hope you feel as comfortable as I do.

Your photo really works for me. I know just how it feels to settle into a chair like that. And if the chair isn't leather, keep it to yourself because I can smell that rich, leathery aroma.

This is such a good photo that you might want to cheat a little bit by subtly blurring out the background showing behind and at the top of the chair. (I strongly support cheating. )

I agrre about cheating the background. I think it would focus attention on the chair.

Thanks for the tips. Never tried blurring before so I will play around with it.

I agree totally with Barb- I can smell the leather - can feel it - can even hear it squeak against my jeans as I sit down. I can feel that throw, too, since I had one like it. And if I sit here long enough (and I probably will) I can feel one side of my face get hot from the sun. And if I'm REALLY lucky I will feel a cat on my lap, eventually.

VGP (VGP LOL) - that's because I have 20 years on you. You probably have yet to sit in a leather chair, right? j/k Your photos show your wonderful imagination I have to believe that you can put yourself in others' - it really does help if you close your eyes. I know - your idea of luxury probably isn't a spare 15 minutes, alone in the house, and a good book halfway finished. I think that's what appeals about this picture.
