Default Good Sense: Snow Monster

Perhaps if he was wearing a hat it would make more sense.

What an amazing photograph! The snow monster is fantastic, as is the black on white on black (person/monster/background). I would probably be colder if your artist were bundled up. But it sure elicits a "brrr."

great shot. Cold is easy to feel. This is first time I 've seen someone with an unbrella used in the winter.

I must admit to not feeling the cold, but the artistry needed to sculpt that snow monster is mighty impressive.

But why the umbrella :?: :?:

I realize this is a night shot, but it's too dark.

He spent most of the time in a sweatshirt and no hat, rolling up snowballs and sculpting the thing with a friend. Each sculpted one side as they saw fit. I think the umbrella was a futile attempt to stay dry as he finished up.

I consider this shot a basic snapshot. Here is a version with a little post processing to lighten things up.

I love the umbrella, sort of a snow version of 'Singing in the Rain', very funny.

Some of those snowflakes look very much like hearts. Hmmm, nifty stuff...hearts...umbrella...horns...? Very thought provoking indeed; makes one wonder what that shadowy stuff in the far background is. Of course it's "trees" but maybe it can be something else. I like this photo and I've had fun with it. Every time I look I see something more. Beyond sight I can smell the snow, the wetness I can feel, the cold I can definitely feel, I can hear the softness of the flakes and the silence of the background. This one fills me with sensations indeed. I can even hear the thoughts of that individual who is building his tower. He's creative but perhaps not the happiest camper around since he feels inclined to build a devil out of snow.

Default Maybe not a devil at all?

Well I think it's a cartoon pussycat with fat lips, not unlike the Tom&Jerry character.
