For all you cold country people this is why i love down here. 80 degrees and we have been wearing shorts all day. So i thought I would fire up the old grill.

Remind me again when it's 98 degrees there with 99% humidity

Chicken looks ready!

Default Warm Weather and Outdoor Grilling

I can appreciate the warm weather. The second image made me hungry and resulted in an association of the image with the smell of grilled chicken, burgers and sauage.

Mmmm - this looks fantastic. And I am getting hungry. Louisiana is one of those places I've always wanted to go - i'd love to see the bayou and walk the French Quarter - just once in my life (with a male escort, of course - and definately not during Mardis Gras!). Seeing Maine was my other wish of places to see, and I got that last Sept for my honeymoon. We liked it so much we can't wait to go back! PA is OK - it's where I was born and raised, and DH has no intention of moving - or I'd be in ME or somewhere down south in a heartbeat, I think!

That's it! It's warm enough here in NYS, so I'm sending my husband outside to the grill tonight, even if it's just to make burgers.

Someone mentioned how fattening this challenge has been. So far, it's the only challenge I've been wishing would end. I'm darned tired of being hungry all the time.

Be glad we are not having our crawfish boil till next week. Monkey if you ever get this way I would like to see the French Quarter, too. It's only 6 hrs. to New Orleans from here.
