DX:

You are amazing, I believe in another life, you were a Mike Hammer.

I am just amazed at your intuition.

I believe we all want to hear the story. I look at the image and wait to know their story.

I've joined Betsy in jumping up and down on the bed and yelling, "Tell your story, I wanna hear the story!"

This picture is actually my stepmom's next door neighbor. When she found out I do restorations she sent it to me to restore and colorize it. I don't know the story behind the picture.
For the record, my username LTBerry is short for Logan Thomas Berry, nothing to do with the navy. Although, I am leaving for the air force in 2 months (enlisted, not lieutenant)
So, I have my father's ears and mother's eyebrows, huh? Interesting.

LOL - or was that the mailman's? Fantastic! You did an excellent job of colorizing this. And congrats on enlisting. My DH was in the AF and really respects young men who do.

I guess this is a case of getting more out of a picture than was put into it.

I agree with Betsy. You've done a really fine job of colorizing the photo. Can you imagine the kind of work involved in colorizing old b&w movies? Frame by frame?
