Lemme guess...you're the one with the camera around your neck.

You and your Submariner buddies. You are the one with the guy on your shoulders???

LTBerry may be right though - I missed the camera at first glance!

I'm lousy at this!

Early '60s, maybe about '65. Mustaches beginning to be allowed in the military.

It's hard to say whether or not the submarine's at sea, though there does seem to be a bit of action in the water. Regardless, it was a lovely warm and sunny day, both in climate and in mood. This is a picture of the bond created amongst soldiers and sailors.

Because you're the one who owns the photo, I'd say you're not in the picture at all.

Default Buddies

The sub is nuclear powered and the guys were your close shipmates. The man with the camera is not you - wrong hairline. My guess is you took the photo. The big guy in the center is in very good condition - perhaps a UDT type of guy.

I was never a bubblehead(OHenry will get it) But it doesn't seem a nuke. It would have to be coming into port, to be on the surface, and they would be in dress. I will say one of the last '60's deisels, by the flat deck. Ther is one officer on the right. What confuses me is what is on the lefthand guys leg. It looks like a signed cast? The big guys mustache looks too thick to be henry. Although I get the impression he is a large man.

Looking at eyes, the window to the soul, I'd say that Henry is the one being carried by the big guy. Yep, I have no doubt that Henry is the one hanging over the shoulders of the big guy. Great shot Henry, it looks like you were having fun.

Vito, because of Barb's wonderful rules we will both need to wait, and that's the absolute fun of it all. Barb's rules now make sense! Heck, they always did with me. Here's what you need to do. Copy the photo, put it into your processor, whatever you use, then copy Henry's avitar, and look at the eyes. They are exactly the same. Try it and let me know what you think. I'm positive but if you ain't then maybe you will convince me otherwise. The guy on the shoulders has exactly the same eyes as Henry's avitar. Why? Because the eye is the window of the soul, it never changes, it's the same from birth to death, and defines us. Nifty, eh?
