Default Family

The first photo is a family reunion circa late 60's in southern Italy. The second photo is you and your mother taken about the same time period.

That's perfect, Rod! That's exactly what it looks like to me, too.

I think Rod's way off on the date for the first photo. 1940, give or take a few years. Though styles are certainly likely to differ amongst countries, the clothing I'm looking at came quite a bit before the 60's.

Vito, judging by his Avatar, he's a lot younger than that - and kinda boxy-shaped (I have no idea how old he looks, just his camera! )

Wow, Vito! You must have one of those wall-size monitors! All I get in my 19" is a little white T-shirt with a head tacked on.

He's probably not all that old. He has a very young (and very cute) son, but how can we really tell when we're talking about such an intelligent, charming Latin man? Or should it be  ?

Looking at the first photo; This cannot be a family gathering. Look at the age of the group, most are 20 upto 40 in age.
My guess is a company picknick (shoefactory ??)
There are only 3 women in black, probably city folks in north Italy (vegatation).

The second photo seems to be in (again) north Italy on a religious day (were a kid gets its official entering into the church).
