Default Different People in Different Countries In Different Times

This challenge has shown many shots of different people in different countries in different times.

Yesterday evening I was thinking : how much different an american guy was from an italian one during the same period.
And how much different were people of the same country across the XX Century decades.

I wanted to see all of the shots all together.
Thinking about the way to lay out so many different shots I ended up with this one.

I downloaded all of the shots at about 23:45 ( italian time ) of the last Weekly Photo Challenge day.
While saving them I named the files with their year and location.

I then created this grid in PS :
- on the y axis you have the decades
- on the x axis you have geographical areas, west to east.

I then layed out shots according to those two coordinates.

So, if u look from top to bottom you will see how people changed during time.
And if u look left to right you will see how people differed across countries in the same period.

If you are intersted into and you like it just click here to have a look at a bigger version :

P.S. : I do not exclude I may have made some error in classifyng time and location of every single shot. P.M. to me and I'll try to fix it.
Not now though : it is 2:21 AM in Italy

You're hired! I'm not sure yet what I'm going to hire you for but I have little doubt that no matter what it is your performance level will be way above average.

Sergio, I've come to expect this wonderful kind of thinking from you, and yet, I'm surprised each time I see it. You're so very good at finding what things mean, and you sure did it with this. Thank you for telling us and for showing us what you were thinking.

And Rod, you hit that nail right on the head. The family of man, indeed.

Great idea, Sergio. I wish I'd had something to contribute from Japan!

What a well-executed concept and presentation! Sometimes I enjoy the idea that we can share ideas around the world here, but you have made the effort to put that concept into a graphic and share it with us - thanks so much!
