I like the first picture. The second just is too blurry up front to hold my interest. Good demonstation of the challenge.

I can't seem to pick one over the other. I like them both. I don't know if it's a result of JPEG compression, which can do poisonous things, but both pictures look like they could use a little more saturation and maybe a touch of brightening.

I like the second one better (this is kind of like the tests when I get my eyes examined!) But I think I like the very first one you posted best of all.

I like them both but the second is my favorite. It's either a Spring or a flower thing.

I like the way the lower photo gives just enough of a hint of a familiar shape, framed in those lovely blossoms. But the flowers need a bit more punch to hold the eye. Hold on, I'm going to try something . . .

Oh, boy toners, you're going to jail now for sure, messing with a copyrighted image. But the way you got that group of blossoms in sharp focus, Prmsekpr, just begged for them to pop a bit more. I did a bit of selective levels and saturation adjustment, and then warmed the whole thing up a tad. Please excuse me for messing with it - its a lovely photograph.

WeeeoooooWeeeeeoooo - toners, can you hear the paddywagons? I do like what you've done to it - really brought out the center of interest. I hope I haven't offended you, Promise Keeper - it's a great photo - with some great tweaking!

We're not supposed to comment in our own posts until Monday, right?

Well, then the following is not a comment.

I'll reply to toners after Monday
