Very nice concept. I'm bored at work, too, but I can't play with my camera. Best I get is a magazine.

Default Joy in Work

I like the 1st image. The images are a good demonstration of DOF. As to being bored at work. I am sorry but your plight fits within 90% of the American work force that does not not liking their job.

When I was working in a "professional" job, I was fortunate that I was never bored doing R&D. Now I work part-time as a tankerman on a barge. A big difference but I love my job. I have a job today. The forecast is for rain, wind and perhaps the air temperature will reach 60 F but I look forward to the beauty of being on the water and watching the elements and light change as band of clouds move across a low gray sky. One of the big differences between what I did and what I do now is, I can not take the barge home with me in my briefcase.

What's the point - life and work are what you make it.

Take joy in the fact you can work and have a good job,

rod

You're absolutely right, Rod, and I am thankful I have a job. That doesn't mean it's not boring sometimes, tho!

my "job" never gets boring.....tiring but never boring...i'm almost always doing something......(my "job" with my dad..)

he makes counter tops....laminate and swanstone.....and i can pretty safely say he is the best in New Jersey (at least New Jersey )

i wouldn't mind getting to take pictures at work i guess i could....a lot of dust in the shop though....

Impossible to pick which one works best because it all depends on intent: create an abstract design, create an illustration, create an advertisement.

This is one fine example of how DOF comes in very, very handy.

LOL - Vito, my first DH and I designed and built a house ourselves, starting with little knowledge and ending with lots (good and bad). And, oh, the drywall dust! My K1000 is NOT the same. I highly recommend either leaving the camera at home or protecting it like a baby.
