Default Seeing Double: Third Time's the Charm?

This was an adorable boy at the airport when DH and I took step daughter to BWI for her return to Italy. I superimposed it on a filtered photo of our yard and added a vignette. Not a great pic but there's something about this little boy that amuses me.

He has the look of an angel, and so the way you handled this seems completely appropriate.

This was his happy dance when he realized he could sit by his big brother on the plane. I had to get my little point-and-shoot going quickly, and got a lot of blur because he was dancing so fast! DH thought I was an idiot for taking his picture, I think.

I'm sure your DH no longer thinks you're an idiot. Who knows? You may find a second career in photojournalism.

I would absolutely love that, Barb. If I didn't live in Podunk - our six-page paper has things like authority meetings and school games (and one of the few papers left that still have a daily Bible verse and prayer).

I love the colors and the mood evoked and the compositional space is excellent. I don't think it's your absolute best work in this challenge, though, primarily because of the same complaint that Barb had with Toner's wonderful offering, a real sharp and in focus center of interest isn't evident. Something on the boy needs to be sharper. Otherwise, excellent!

Thanks, Normcar! Maybe I'll try again if I get the chance later today.

I masked and sharpened the face - and colored the eyes, as well as dabbed a little neutral "eye liner" on him. Better?

I like this rendition better, but I disagree with Normcar on focus. I think it's one of those photos that cries out to be soft.
