Cool effects. At first I was thinking it showed motion well, but then realized that the wheels weren't aligned properly to show specific motion forward or backward but it's still an excellent shot! I have never tried doing this effect (I assume you zoomed in/out during exposure) but you handled it quite nicely!

Actually I should have indicated the original shot was massaged quite a bit in PS Elements.
The original was used to create three layers which were then superimposed on each other slightly overlapping to provide the multiple image effect. Each layer was then slightly reduced in opacity to allow for the see thru effect.
With lots of hindsight I would have done a few things slightly differently and also blended the layers a tad better.

Ohenry is right the alignment is slightly off to properly show motion. Also would have required slight changes in size of the image in each layer to make it even more realistic.

Thanks for the comments. This was a true learning experience.
