Everything about it is right except for one little thing: did you do the lettering yourself or is it the original layout from the book? I ask because I can't make out the word(s) on the line following "Doctor-Designed." BUT, this wasn't a challenge to do expert lettering anyway. It was more a devise to get the juices flowing photographically. You did a fine job, Vito!

yes i did the lettering myself...but was copied off the book...except for my favorite lettering...the sand lettering...
it isn't easy to read most of it.....but i like how it looks indented into the sand....

btw..was this supposed to be completely my work? like...adding text in different spots? and was there a certain amount of text that HAS to be there? like just title and author?

ok...i'm done....

I like this very much, Vito! And it is "fool-proof" that Barb can't read. It is difficult but I read it the way I read Shakespeare - let my eyes glide over the letters and internalize shape and content, not labor over the acutal words. It works much better that way.

Aha! "Foolproof" is the word! For a second there, Betsy, I thought you were calling me a fool and that, because I couldn't read one of the words, it meant it was foolproof. Well, it was anyway.

No, Vito, the lettering doesn't count and doesn't even have to be there at all. I simply wanted the title stated somewhere, either in your own explanation in your post or as part of the design so we'd all know what was being illustrated. Naming the author is a courteous bow to the person who spent months writing.
