I took a big, big risk this Christmas and spent over $100 on a toy, pretty much for my practical husband. This is a Jensen Steam Engine, made about 20 minutes from where we live. He loves it! I took macros of the two most integral part of the engine (housing and wheel) and merged them. I hope that's OK.

Ooh, guy toys! Hissers and thumpers and crushers--anything that makes noise and breaks things, but mostly that blows stuff up.

Well, now that I got that out of my system, I have to say you did a fine job, Betsy. Of course it's okay to merge stuff. You're a woman. You can do anything you want. 8)

Thanks, Barb! Doing whatever I want can get me kicked off the team, tho - depends on the game. Yes, this is a little pellet-driven gizmo about 4" cube, all made by hand (we saw a show on public TV on the basement family shop it's made at and John was quite smitten). It has yet to be lit. My dad's eyes lit up when he saw it and he pretended to get it going, just like a little kid. John wants to keep it pristine, tho, so pretending is all my dad did with it. I know what to get my dad this Christmas, tho! (he gets a Digital Rebel for retirement in December, from the whole family - ssshhhh! don't tell!).
