I'll admit I cheated, a little. I work for Tacoma Public Utilites, and I used to be in the power section. I've seen tons of these things. The porcelain ones just aren't the same as the glass ones.

lol....even though i know wat it is now....i STILL can't pick out the shape of it in the shot!....all i see is lines and color.....(which is great...) good job...

OK I broke the rule - "No guessing games". A thousand appologies to all. I just couldn't resist after some of the guessings games that have been played here in the last few weeks. I never can figure them out, so this was payback. I'll be more careful in the future and read the whole challenge before charging off with my little camera.

I'll post a picture of the insulator from the same angle but at a distance where you can see the whole thing. This shot is really of the interior reflections and is indeed hard to tie back to what the exterior of the thing looks like.

I would like to have been on the crew that updated those old poles, that way I would get all those old insulators and have a great set of Glasses
