Default Close Up:Brain twister

Barbara,

"...seeing what your camera sees rather than what your brain says is really there."

Can I assume the following is not fair game despite what my brain says is there but isn't really there.. :-?

Just teasing....

Oh dear. No matter what I do, I can't resolve the bottom and the top. M. C. Escher must be haunting you.

Default very cool

I have seen this type of image where shapes become other shapes as the eye move across the work. If you drew this, I am impressed.

Rod,

I wish I could take credit. I have a deck of playing cards with 52 optical illusions. An interesting deck.

Barbara, I almost posted some Escher but thought that would have been cheating somewhat.

Why ?
Who did better than Escher in applying the concept of "seeing what your brain says is there instead of what your eyes see "
