Very nicely meets the challenge! Great shape and colors. Nice lighting and very sharp. I really like this one. Abstract.

And I definately would not have known what it was if you hadn't mentioned it - since until I started eating tilapia this year, my fish experiences have dealt "solely" with McFillets - square, breaded and slathered in fatty tartar sauce, draped with one congealed piece of cheese and hidden in a hard, crusty roll (hard and crusty only from sitting on the shelf in its wax wrapper for three hours). (I love McDonald's fish sandwiches, tho!)

This is a beautiful close-up! The one and only detraction is your signature--it draws the eye away from the photo. Signatures should be subtle enough that they're seen only when searched for. After all, what's important is the beautiful photo, not the lettering.

good job, you should frame it and hang it in your bathroom
ops:

Because someone asked me for clarification about my above “original” comment, I meant your finished product is worthy of being ART (minus the signature, IMHO) and because of the colors I think it would compliment a bathroom. Not the toilet mind you but around the vanity area. I could also see it in the kitchen, but then that would be the obvious place because after all it is a picture of a fish.

Another supporting reason to choose the bathroom is because of the often used “water” theme. You know around the bathtub... anyway I hope my intentions are now clear to everyone.
