My wife calls it a glass paper weight, I call it a dust collector. I set it over a halogen bulb with a multicolored disc rotating over it. Used manual focus and hoped for the best. I initially screwed up the web address to the jpg, causeing the dreaded red X.. Oops.

It's time to stop making disparaging comments about your wife's trinkets. Seems to me it attracted you enough that you went through all kinds of shenanigans to create a lovely photograph. 8)
