Default Close - Alien Landscape



This is purple fluorite. I set a flashlight on a table, chunk of fluorite on flashlight, camera on tripod and a mere 45 photos later. . .tada

f 6.3
2 sec.

Responding to the comments from before the 'big bang'. Funny thing was, this was shot #3 all the rest were aiming for one I liked better. Probably not so much a sign of doing it the right way as a sign of being an OCD nut job.

Monk. The signature is in reference to my photography. Just because I own a camera doesn't mean I know how to use it. Which leads me to be thankful for this forum. I'm finally planning my photos more and relying less on dumb luck.

hmm...the forum software switch seems to have deleted my old post.....

oh well....



this shot is great! you did a fabulous job setting up....and not giving up after so many pictures....and like someone posted a couple days ago (deleted also )....you did this the right way....you took a bunch of shots...and got one or two good ones...instead of taking one or two shots...and not getting any good ones..the latter is wat most people do....good job
