Here's my attempt (thanx to Rod for the inspiration) :

Before Shooting :

- Shot has been taken during the eveningwith self timer and a tripod (macro mode)

-Full Light has been lit in the other room

After Shooting :

- level correction

- despeckle

- automatic contrast

- I've left the orange dominant color cause I liked it !

Excellent, Sergio! I'm surprised you didn't put a tiny hint of what might be seen through the keyhole, but you've left the entire composition clean, which probably works far better.

Sergio:

The question behind the door. I suspect most individualsin this country, are asking that question. I will not open a political door at the forum but I will say, this is a low point in our history and I am deeply sorry and embarrassed.

I like the approach but a hint of what is behind the door via the keyhole might add another level of questions.

Nice job, the detail is incredible - note the small "v" in each screw head.

Thanx !

I deliberatly avoided to put any hint behind that door and leave just an undefined white light.

Maybe it's Barbara fault who tought me to leave a message as open as possible so that everybody can fill it with his personal emotions.

This way the shot becomes more intriguing cause everybody sees something different behind that door ...

Your photo, Sergio, is nothing more than a door lock. It's amazing how really simple things can look so good.

This reminds me of my mum telling me how her day (my granddad) got her to pose as if she was yawning and dropping a nightdress to the floor. When he developed it he placed her in a key hole on a door. This was all years ago when she was little.
