Here is one I dug out of my old pictures. For the past 15 years I have been involved with the Washington State Special Olympics Summer Games. We run the Olympic Town at the Soccer venue. The bucket truck is the Barney Bucket program from Tacoma Power. I was using it last year to get aerial pictures of out setup, and snapped this one before heading back down.

I'm probably going to get banned from this forum for soliciting, but it's worth it. If anyone is interested at volunteering at this year event, please contact me. The games take place June 4th through the 6th on Fort Lewis, but we (Soccer Olympic Town) only need volunteers for the 5th and 6th. If you want to volunteer at other venues check out http://www.sowa.org. We have to turn in our volunteer listto the Army by May 20th, so we need signed volunteer form before then.

I have no idea what the "G" is for, we didn't even realize it was there until someone went up in the bucket.

This was only 50' up, I've been up in the 100' one before.

Oh, aaargh and double-aaargh! I can't even stand on a chair without having visions of my own demise!

Not only a good shot, but it's also a case in which you knew not to lose an opportunity when it presented itself to you.

Great exposure, not too high and not too low an f-stop.

I fell off my chair when I saw your picture. I was so dizzy. Neat view.

I think I know what the "G" stands for. It stands for ground. Did you notice a big "S" for sky?,or:evil:.

Once again great view!

I know the Army likes to label things but this time they may have gone too far. I'll have to look for the "S" when I'm out there this year.

Wonderful perspective, estill...

Here may bean answer...to the question of the "G"...

Could it be that a midshipman carved in the grass...

"Go Navy, Beat Army"

Quickly, Ft. Lewis ground crews worked to eliminate the message?

Just a thought...
