Foremast Top - Barquentine Juan Sebastian de Elcano

Sorry for the lack of participation lately. I have been extremely busy fitting out our little sailboat for a trip northalong the Atlantic Coast. This will probably be my last post for sometime but I should be back sometime in September, hopefully with many new images. I still have more tasks and projects to finish. Our departure date is either the 1st or 2nd of June - destination north, boat and weather permitting.

I have enjoyed this challenge and would like to thank all its members for the enjoyment and excitement of viewingyour images over the past month or so. I would especially, like to thank Barbara for her hard work and dedication. You havehelp all of us become better photographers and individuals - thank you.

Kind Regards,

Fair Winds & Following Seas

Rod, others are probably having the same reaction to your photo that I am, which involves wantingto shout, "Can I come too?!"

We all wish you fair sky, full sail and many, many photographs.

Thanks for the kind words and wishes. This is a big step for Lenora and me. Our dream is to sell up and cruise the seas. A difficult life but so rewarding. Before we leave on this trip, I will post an image of our 28 ft Bristol Channel Cuttter.

Fair Winds & Following Seas,
