I have a pic I want to include in the "Angle" challenge and have failed at inserting the pic. I can put the link but that isn't easy to view.

If you have the pic in JPEG format on your hard drive, click the "Browse" button just beneath the area where you write your posts. From there, locate the photo on your drive, double-click it, and its address will appear in the little window to the left of the browse button. When you post your message, your photo will be uploaded from your computer to Steve's server.

There is a slightly more detailed version of what bcoultry said below.

The only obstacle in your much more detailed description, Ferny, is that the button is called "Browse," not "Choose." If it had been called "choose," we all wouldn't have struggled quite so much to learn how to upload pix. I'm fairly used to the ins and outs of uploading, but that darned Browse button was as clear as mud to me.

Yes, it is, but there's also usually some sort of indication that it's used to browse through your own files for the purpose of uploading. The indications here are subtle at best. I, for one, don't always respond to subtleties, needingsomeone to yell, "Hey, YOU!!! Wake UP!!!"

Is it really called "browse" for you? That's odd. Maybe it's because I've using Opera, using the default skin or because I'm have my computer set up for English English and not American English. Still, on all other forums it is hard coded so I would have thought it would be the same everywhere...

I had no idea! Yes, it's called "Browse," which is what had me so completely confused when I first saw it. Way off on the left is brief mention of attaching images, but it's so far left that it's disconnected from the button. Will have to do a screenshot to show you...

They get old and tend to wander a lot. Glad you found her. Mine's been missing for a whole week.
