It's really simple (and I've done this one badly!). You make a duplicate layer, remove the color from the duplicate layer, then erase what you want to be in color. I think there are a number of ways to do it, using "color" as the type of layer, using one layer and selecting your gray vs. color items, etc.

Thanks for the tip monkey143, i've just tried one. :-)It takes a steady hand though. On my first try when i erased the photo was just going white but when i ticked one of the boxes on the toolbar it worked. I may post it as another entry for this challenge as it has some red in it. Thanks again. :-)

Nice shot. I won't quibble about the blue sky. The fact that you are able to remove and add color where you want still amazes me. I've not yet figured out what a layer is.

By the way, that ain't no pickum up truck. Me and all the rest of the Bubbas in Mechanicsville have pickum up trucks and they don't look like that.

Puck, that's cuz you're not OLD enuf to recunize a real pickemup truck. This may have even been used to pickemup literally and take them to the one-room drunk tank. This really is a one-horse town! :-)
