This IS nice. I see a mom all dressed up, ready to go play mahjjong in a white dress with red polka dots, hair coiffed and cigarettes that were good for exercising her lungs. She has a patent leather wide belt cinching a tiny waist and a pointy bra making her uncomfortable. The toes of her shoes are equally pointy and pinching. In ten more years she'll discover frozen dinners and Valium. :-)She's dressed to the nines all day and caters to her husband and just smiles when he winks at his secretary and calls her "honey."I wouldn't have minded living a little of that life as an adult. Just a little.

Very nice photo, and appropriate. Thanks! :-)

Superb! As I've said before, the level of innovative, artistic, inventive, and professional submissions on this site are to be admired. And alsoemulated on occasion to reach even higher plateaus. Although, your photo is at K2 status currently. I like it, I like it.

Thanks, everyone!

MoonGypsy, what's "K2"?

Puck, I'll be ready.

Vito, Albany and its immediate surroundings are referred to as the Capital District, and I live in a rural area across the Hudson River from Albany. I'm so used to calling this area the Capital District that I forgetthat people in other states might not know what I mean.

Because, Vito, New York City is so huge. It just seems that a capital ought to be the largest city in a state, but there are number where this isn't true, mostly because the largest city isn't approximately equidistant from all other parts of the state. Vermont's another one where a smaller city is the capital.

Barbara, K2 is the highest mountain in the world, and it would be impossible to attain a higher point, or plateau. I think that your execution of "Red" is spectacular. I am in awe of the creative genius that I encounter on this site, and I'm not just saying that!!! :homey:

I always thought K2 was the second highest after Mt Everest. :-)
