Great quote, Bcoultry

"You don't need a paintbrush or chisel or pencil to be an artist. Art can be the result of how you see the world and then photograph it."

and a slam dunk, winnah submission for your weekly challenge.

Nice shot Barbara. I think the exchange of ideas here may have something to do with it but I get the feeling you and Vito are creatively similar....and that's a compliment to both.

Interesting. I hadn't thought about it, but I wonder.... What do you think, Vito? Both of us love going for the drama and playing hard with light. A couple of buddy jokers in a past life.

You've got THAT right, Vito! Thoughthe major itemI stole was actually given to me graciously. I don't know how I lived without my table on a tripodandits overhanging bar. Use of flashlights? Been doing it for years, but I learned about the LED from Dale. He's one very fine photographer.

No! You didn't say anything wrong, Vito. We're all learning from each other constantly. I should have been clearer and indicated what I really meant which was that there are a number of fine photographers here, Dale among them, and we should make sure to steal from ALL of them.

well that is true too....i was apologizing for saying you ONLY stole the ideas from dale...and hadn't known any of the stuff before....i didn't mean that..but that's how it sounded...err...loooked..haha this internet stuff is funny...

i need to rig something up for better ways to hold some of the flashlights....last night i had it "balanced" on the pool table, the back end being propped up with a ping pong paddle so it would aim right at my face! lol
