This is actually part of another project I'm working on, but it just so happens to include some very major red.

This is so nice for all kinds of reasons. From the Pinmato evoking memories of childhood to the pleasing composition and sharp focus, this is one of my favorites of all time.:-)

This is an idea that comes from a book I have on studio lighting: dig the old slide projector out of storage, put things in empty slide frames, and project them onto still lifes. This has taken me three whole days to manage because I spent one day figuring out how to create my own frames so I could change the images they hold at will, then two more days fighting with the old projector, trying to get it to stop changing phantom slides. Finally, my husband managed to jam a little lever that stopped all the activity.

This picture was taken using a projected snowflake sequin sandwiched between two pieces of clear plastic cut from a bubble pack. I can also project images of a window frame, stained glass, spider web, and a bunch of other stuff that isn't coming to mind right now.

Thanks, guys.
