Barbara gave me the idea to try a set piece, though it's not as good here it is. Two of my favourite films and a nice cold beer. :-)

I would comment on you calling Carling beer, when it is really hamster urine, but you've met the challenge so well with this I won't bother.:-)

Thanks ferny, I agree with you about Carling it's not my favourite. I prefer a bottle of Becks or a pint of John Smiths bitter but I haven't got any of those and the Carling fits the photo better. :-)

Pity you couldn't get a can of red stripe beer from Jamaica.

Nonetheless, interesting combination, I guess folks in USA would have added a pizza.

Cheers

Thanks selvin, you could send me a can of red stripe if you like. :-)You said that in the USA they would add a pizza, I don't like pizza but i could have put in a donner kebab with chilli sauce which is nice and red. :-)

You did a fine job of it!

Just my opinion, but as Eric Idle might say" Why not a bleedin' bottle of Whatney's Red Barrel." It would meet the challenge on multiple levels. Sorry for the cursing, but "Bleedin'" has no cultural derisive meaning on this side of the pond.:P

*I also foung a photo of mine that I could squash down small enough to use as my avatar. Comments on the avatar?

Very nice. I like these colors. I agree with Barb - unless it's a room temperature Heinekin once every few years, I'll take red wine (dry - cabernet or merlot). And I agree with MoonGypsy - love Eric Idle, too, for that matter. Very nice. makes me want to set aside some time to play with my camera again (haven't for a couple weeks). :-)

MoonGypsy, do you have the original for your new avatar posted somewhere? I'd really like to see it closer to full size because it looks like it must be a tremendous photo.
