Monkey143~ Yup! Me and my friend Amy ((discodudette)) took a bunch of pictures of this roseon her black grand piano. It was really fun to photograph since the piano was so dark, it set a romantic tone! Thanks!

Nice shot, it could be the cover for a box of chocolates. :-)

Haha, yup Ames has a name. We ride horses together, and when we found out we both had a passion of looking at life through a lens, we clicked! Lol, Im not sure if she plays the piano. I play a little, but mainly only songs my other friend taught me. I can't read piano music, so I learn by seeing people play and imitating them.

Jenni, the way you photographed that rose is the epitome of romance. Very well done.

We can't poke each other in the ribs so make puns instead.:-)

Jenni, I believe we make puns becausewe are thehighly elite, intelligent literati of the internet. Looks like you fit right in! :-)Girlfriends are great. I have one in town - just one - but I don't know what I'd do without her. Guys are fun and husbands are indispensible - families are just plain fantastic - but girlfriends are something else. Glad you have someone to share with! :-)Ruth and I have no common interests but we're both as hyper as you can imagine - hubby can't handle us together and we sit together in church - I can't tell you what the sermons are about most of the time:-).

Photo evokes memories of high school poetry classes and :

O, my love is like a red, red rose,
That's newly sprung in June.
O, my love is like a melodie,
That's sweetly play'd in tune.

Robert Burns

There's a site dedicated to this poem at,
