Gorgeous picture... I love the very subtile background... And the pose of the rose was very nicely positioned, as it seems to be striking out at me.

Hope you and your wife are okay! Was this picture maybe inspiration from a hard day? Lol.

Obviously, Rick, you should have picked the rose for your wife. Of course, she might have thrown you out for picking the rose, but then you could have told her that rose bushes continue to bloom longer and better if the flowers are picked.

You did extremely well. It looks as if it must either have rained recently or the roses had been watered. Was it a cloudy day? I ask because there's none of the washout of color that direct sun can cause.

I won't bore you all but i am living with my sister and it looks like divorce. I took the pic between storms.

The rose may not last but the picture will. Give a pic of this rose to your first date. Really nice shot and framed nicely.
