Now that's red.I can never get bird shots that big. Do you use a super zoom lens?

that would be a cardinal...one of the brighter birds i get here in new jersey..

Nice catch, Rick! And the pose of the cardinal is unusual, doubtless caused by what it was trying to cling to.

Cardinals are fascinated by their own images and will, when they find an outside rear-view mirror on a vehicle, spend ages talking to themselves...and pooping down the side of your car.

ahh....sry brad....just skimmed it..somehow missed that line....weird...

you're right though! cardinals are so beautiful....that and the goldfinch are my two favorite smaller birds we get around my house.....my favorite though is the Bald Eagle we have at the reservior near my house...beautiful bird that one is!

nothing to apologize about vito....

we get goldfinch too, tiny little things they are, those and chikidies (is that even what there called)

the closest thing to bald eagles up here are are chicken hawks :sad:
