Yup, use the default color. Vito, is that what you use? If it is, then it shows up as black type on a light-colored background for us light-paged folk.

Great shot! I love the lighting, I'm going to have to give that a shot sometime!

Vito's going to be a great artist of some kind when he gets out there in the world. Graphic artist, photographer, videographer...who knows? Right Vito?

thanks barbara!! today has been a VERY encouraging day!!

and moongypsy, i like to make graphics with photoshop, and it being a 2D program, you have to simulate the shading and color changes and reflections that make it look 3D....so i've learned that over the past year or so, and i've just started putting that to use in fruit drawings.....the hardest part of the drawing of the fruit for me, is getting the shape right......lol...and i don't have any texture in them, like little bumps and stuff like that, i'll have to look at some pictures of pears (i have one posted in close ups..lol) and see how the light effects the bumps.....

oh yeah....i'm using the default forum style, and if you don't change the color at all, it changes according to the style used, for example.....in my style it will show up white, i'm guessing it will be black on the white ones....i don't know..i haven't looked..lol am i right barbara?

well....thanks all for your encouraging posts

I even liked the original but I do like it with the red pencil. Excellent warm tones.

I completely agree with Barbara amazing how a small change changes the meaning of the picture. Your pics are really good.
