Hold tight to that knowledge. The interesting thing about supposed "criticism" is that, far too often, people use it to reduce the status of others (or horses) so they can then look better to themselves. They do this instead of taking the harder, longer road to improving themselves (or their horses). What a pain in the neck these peopleare!

Betsy, I hope you read the book. They changed some of the story in the movie, and definitely not for the better.

Barb, I haven't yet - but I am an avid reader. I actually fell asleep during the movie last night; tried to finish it while on the treadmill today - can't actually seem to get through it, tho it is a good movie. I've heard it's a true story. Thanks for the advice. Perhaps I'll pick it up at the library.

LOL That movie reminds me of me too! For example: Last winter we went for a snow trail ride in basicaly the exact same scence except we were not near any roads thank god. Anyhoo one of us ended up falling off and it was not me. It was really funny fall off though! There were 2 people on the horse and going up a steep hil with deep snow. She did her final "thrust" to get up there and *plop* they were just sitting there on the ground!

Anyhoo im wiped!

For the UK people The Horse Whisperer is on five of Sunday at 20:20 till 23:40. I can't get five so won't be watching it. Instead I'll turn on c4 for Goodfellas. :-) Or rather I'll be watching the DVD that I bought ages ago which has never been played. It's odd, my tape of Goodfellas almost wore thin from use but the DVD has never been opened.:?:

My town has an international airport and two train stations. Yet in the exact area I live I can't get five or freeview. We've got cable which the family use but I never watch it.
