Well folks, this is what happens when you run out of inspiration for a challenge.

I think it's an awesom photo! I really like the colours and the shape (tee hee hee.. circles!) The background colour really makes the lampshade pop, and the lightbulb pops even more because it's brightest. Great shot!

l8r g8r,

Ames

Nice one Chipseh, it looks a bit like the Venus transit. :-)

Lets make a toast to us all running out of inspiration for a challenge then.
I really do think that's good. But I can't put my finger one why.

It's abstract and it's an optical illusion when told what it really is. Until Amy mentioned the lightbulb, I thought I was looking at the lampshade from underneath and up inside it. It's the abstraction, I think, that makes it special. Long live your supposed lack of inspiration!

Computers are normally fixed with a hammer. That or a spilt cup of coffee.

No no, you were correct the first time Barb. I was lying flat on my bed with my camera pointed at the ceiling. Really.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I didn't know you'd like it that much. Really appreciated.

Good idea! Took a similar photo some weeks ago, but don't want to open a new thread for that now.
