Hehe! Great picture! I have a question... how do you make the background so stark white?

I placed them on white foam core board and shot it in full overhead sunlight so that I could capture the circular shadows as well as the main subjects. I metered off the neutral color of polarizer filter so that the whites would be white and the blacks would be black.
