The leaves are circles. The clusters are circles. The location is Shore Acres Botanical Gardens in Coos Bay, Oregon on the Oregon coast. Nikon D100, Sigma 28-70mm.

Natural circles augmented by man, a circle-loving creature. You're about to win the title of Circle King in this challenge!

Calr, you struck it bigtime with this one. I love the way the round lilypads are artfully formed into groups of circles themselves.

I've been to Coos Bay but didn't know this gardens existed. Now I'll have to make sure to seek it out the next time I go on a daytrip to the coast.

From downtown Coos Bay or NorthBend, follow the signs that say State Parks. There is a cluster of parks about 3 miles Southwest of CoosBay. I am not sure if it is an island or a small peninsula. You have to cross over a bridge. There are some outstanding viewpoints of the coast and some nice beaches. There is a parking fee for the Botanical Gardens but no entrance fee.

Thanks, calr! I will be sure to visit this place the next time I am over there (sometime this summer I am sure).
