You know you're a photographer when... you don't clean the cobwebs off of your house because you're keeping them around for future photo ops!

Thank you all for your kind comments.

Ferny: I'm not familiar with the Grange Kids (must be a British thing, Mr. Bean I know about), but I get the gist of what you're saying.

Has anyone ever seen a perfect web? I can't recall as I have.

Do you suppose, Geoff, I can use photography as an excuse to not make beds? The blanket, spread, and sheet have such graceful lines when not put into military order. And dust is good, particularly on shiny surfaces, working like face powder on shiny noses. This photography business might have hidden value.

You make beds? (just kidding)

Couldn't you evolve a theme, perhaps calling it "clutter" or "controlled chaos" or even "laziness", that might allow you to be lax like that? And the theme's subject would just get richer and richer in HVT (high value target) photo ops as time went on...

And eventually the health department would post a condemned-property sign around my neck.

Thanks, alady! Try going out on an early spring morning as the sun is just rising. If dew has collected, the webs will be coated and very visible and easier to photograph.
