Thanks, vito!

I said earlier that there was a story behind this senior citizen and now I have the time to say what it is.

I met this gentleman in a nursing home in Florida when my mother was there for a month recuperating from a stroke. He was sitting with his wife (picture below) and they were both staring out a large windowinto a court yard with palm trees and asmall artificial stream flowing through. As I sat down near them, the wife startsspontaneously talking to me about how life is beautiful and if people would only just take the time to see even the smallestwonders of nature around them there would be no reason for anyone to ever be unhappy in life. She continued talking on and on - about her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren, how she and her husband hand only moved into the nursing home 3 weeks before, that she was 99 and her husband was 101, etc. This went on for about 10 minutes whereupon her husband, the gentleman in the original picture who hadn't said a word up to this point, piped up and blurted outto his wife "You talk too much!". She kept on talking and he didn't say another word after that :-)

I tell you, elderly people can sometimes be so refreshing!

You're not going to forget this one, Geoff. So often, and in the end, we remember what doesn't seem so significant at the time and forget moments that scream of importance. It shows what really counts after all. Old folks know this better than anyone else. They've had a lot experience with it.
