The previous picture was taken with the olympus c750 this shot is taken with the Rebel and Tamron 28-75 lense and little more wide angle.

I think the wide-angle lens worked better for this one, allowing the center circle to be offset and for the concentric rings to appear to flow either toward or away from that center.

But what the devil IS it?

I'm not quit sure . Its on one of the buildings in union square. Its a magic wand . I don't know.

The stick annoys me and the blob in the lower left is distracting. But I think it's great. Very eye catching. It's one of those that you could stare at for ages.
