It looks more like '98 to me, Betsy.

Sergio, your wife and my husband could probably complain to each other about us. My husband says he no longer envisions my face when he thinks of me; instead, he imagines the back of my head.

Thanx monkey, Barbara however was more near than you : we married in the last century, a long long time ago :-)( Barbara, the last digit wasn't that easy to decode : it's a 6 , which can be confused with an 8 given the strong perspective).

The first shot shows Elisa's ring much bigger than yours. Does that mean you've done a job with the perspective, or is it customary to have your wife's name inscribed in your ring?
Sorry, I do not understand the mutual exclusion of the question.

However , here's both explanation.

It is customary to have names inside the ring.

So, Elisa is actually my ring and Sergio is my wife's ring.

My finger is greater than my wife's one so :

I put my ring on the left and my wife'soneon the right in the first shot to farther enhance perspective ( I wanted diagonal converging lines) as well as I put my wife's one first and my one farther in the second shot to compensate for perspective and have them almost the same apparent witdh.

Thanks for the explanation, BTS! And for the rear view of Barb! Lovely. Though her hair looks like liquid chocolate. :-)

Stunners, Brtsergio

Especially the second one.

You may have a career in jewelry photography.

(or at least of the rings of the betrothed)

Sergio,

Lovely work. I thought the writing in the rings was a universal practice. My wife and I have similar notations.

Cheers.
