Instead of sending challenge ideas to both would it not be better to send them to one person only (vito for example). Then vito would forward them to monkey. I was just thinking how confusing it could get with ideas going to both people and would expect some to get lost (not through any fault of theirs). Of course I don't know how many messages a moderator of this forum would get each day so it may not be a good idea.

Geoffs, you're right - I was thinking that exact same thing, with the absolute power!

Ferny, Vito and I haven't worked into a "rhythm" yet but I will be physically typing and posting the challenges (so forgive me if I get my buttons confused at first!) with Vito's input and approval. Sure - if Vito agrees, he can field the ideas and we can discuss them between us. He and I both will be actively monitoring all the posts and making sure no challenge submittal slips through as far as suggestions and comments, and appropriateness (though we've all been here long enough I think we all know what's OK).

Bottom line is, you will have two people to deal with if you need to contact a moderator for anything- use whoever you feel most comfortable with - or whose link is closest to your mouse! All ideas and input are certainly welcome and Vito and I will make sure we share all general challenge forum information with each other - of course, private or personal correspondance will be kept that way. :-)

you regretting giving me this position barbara?
Not for a moment, but do watch out for those danged buttons way down at the bottom of your screen. They detonate things.

Vitocan beJunior Poohbah (JP). I can be Poohbah in Training (PIT). But I think Vito took exception to being called Little Poohbah or Junior Poohbah. He can be Young Poohbah and I can be Mature Poohbah? You can just call me Pooh for short. :-)Vito, do you want to be Bah? We can be PoohBah together. Or you can be Pooh and I'll be Bah. (I'm tired). :-)

By jove, Betsy! I think you've got it! One Pooh, one Bah. You could even take turns just so you don't get stale, which is something you don't want since it can lead to humbugs.

A quiet, long nod of appreciation to you, Bcoultry, for all you have done.

You have ignited and united the forum in a way never before accomplished! Please do..."take this to the (metaphorical) bank in your warm and wunnerful soul!"

I wish you the very, very best in your chosen endeavors, whatever they may be.

Hugs....to Bcoultry!

And to Vito and Monkey 143, I look forward to your leadership, and your continued, learned insight into all things photographic.
